The digital learning team works to connect, create and inspire. We are doing this by teaching coding and computational thinking to our students. This innovation plan calls for an increase in opportunities for our students.
Researches agree, coding and computations thinking are critical skills for our students. This research will explain why we need increase opportunities for coding and computational thinking in our schools.
The following is the implementation timeline for our innovation plan to increase coding and computational thinking. This timeline starts with our first coding camp experience last summer and continues to next school year. This timeline focuses on what what the innovation plans looks like at the middle school, though the innovation plan covers all levels.
